Lyrics as follows:
'Near the knobs in sunset splendor, Stands a belfried dome;
'Neath those trees in autumn beauty, Our Kentucky Home.
Bethel is our Alma Mater, We're her sons so true;
Evening skies oft flaunt her colors, Gold beneath the Blue.
If we ever go a courting, On a girl so true;
We'll be sure her hair is golden, That her eyes are blue.
If through life we go a sailing, With some guerdon won;
We shall ever bless thee, Bethel, Own us as they son.
"Honor" ever be our motto, Life, the Golden Rule,
Lvoe to thee, our Alma Mater, Bethel dear, our school.
Then when college ties are broken, Thou, no longer nigh;
Mem'ry's flood will ever sheer us, As the years rool by.
There we study Greek and Latin, Math and Science too;
There we try to learn some Spanish, And make Hist'ry new.
There we often meet our foemen, On the field and floor;
There we form new ties of friendship When the game is o'er.
