Description Information gathered by an unnamed genealogist related to Elvis Brooks Parker's Civil War service. Parker, from Tennessee, was apparently court martialed and shot for deserting the Confederate army and fighting for the Union army. His execution occurred after the Battle of Hartsville, Tennessee.
