Admin / Biog History "The Bowling Green Western Symphony Orchestra [was]... originally called the Normal School Orchestra in 1908, the Orchestra is now a cooperative venture between the University and the citizens and businesses of Bowling Green. It is comprised of Western students, faculty members, and musicians from the community. Its purpose is to provide musical education to its members through the rehearsal and performance of diverse orchestral repertory, and to contribute to the cultural enrichment and enjoyment of its audiences."
