The woman on the right is wearing a scoop neck chemise with a draw-string neck and 3/4 length sleeves with ruffled cuffs. She also has on a dark, floor length, circular skirt.

Bed jacket made of chiffon-covered ecru silk and trimmed with guipiere lace on body and lower edge of sleeves, tucked Valenciennes lace covers the upper sleeves, and there is a Valenciennes ruffle all around neck and front opening, inside and out, and on the outside of the hem. The jacket is lined with ecru brocaded satin with pink floral design and on the inside of the jacket a faded pink velvet ribbon is threaded through eyelet lace all around the hem which is tied in bows in four places. A green and pink floral ribbon trims the neckline, and there are two rhinestone brooches on upper chest where the ribbon ends with single flower motif.
