This collection consists of Duncan-Ponvert's thesis "The Stories of Eleven Who Served in World War II from Lewisburg, Kentucky" submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Master of Arts in History from Western Kentucky University April 2004 and the cassette tapes of the interviews she conducted. The participating veterans she interviewed in 2001 and 2002 were: Curtis Brinkley, Eugene Carnall, Joe Carr, Reyburn Duncan, Jim Grise, Alex Hunt, George Richardson, Joe Richardson, Lewis Marshall Richardson, Morgan Vaughn, William Wellborn, and A.B. Wilhite.
