The nomination names: Cass, Douglass, Butler, Pierce, Dickinson, Buchanan, Marcy, Houston and Boyd are listed with their vote totals. "A private dispatch from Baltimore to Louisville states that F. D. Pierce has been nominated for President by the convention and (Wm.) William R. King of Alabama is the Democratic nominee for Vice President."
