|Admin / Biog History||
The County Presidents Club, which was founded in February, 1932, might be called the executive committee of the County Clubs at Western, since it includes in its membership the president of every County Delegation Club on the campus. In 1935 the club had fifty members representing fifty County Delegation Clubs, which included on their rosters students from ninety-eight Kentucky counties.
This group works out the plans and programs for the various County Clubs, both from the standpoint of the individual club activities and the service which the county groups render the institution in carrying forward programs on the campus and throughout the state.
The County Presidents Club has served to accomplish a greater unity of purpose in the student body and a closer relationship between the citizens of the various counties and the student body coming from those counties.
The Registrar served as sponsor for the Club, responsible for creating the membership lists, assigning faculty sponsors and meeting places. [Teachers College Heights, Vol. 16, No. 1]
