Description Quilt block inspired by the fashion plate illustrations that appeared in "Godey's Ladies Book" and other nineteenth century women's magazines as well as the Colonial Revival illustrations of men and women that appeared in newspapers and magazines and on greeting and playing cards and other printed media during the 1920s and 1930s. This figural appliqué includes embroidered accents and ribbon embellishments, and its a green cotton ground is quilted in a flower and trellis pattern.
Background is green cotton quilted in a flower and lattice pattern.
Batting is probably cotton, backing is muslin.
