Description Henry Clay commemorative medal. Silver colored medal has a left facing, bust portrait of Henry Clay which depicts him as a Roman and has "HENRY" AND "CLAY" depicted in raised lettering around the top of the obverse. An angel holding a wreath in front of Clay's monument is depicted on the reverse, "EVERY END HE AIMED AT, WAS HIS COUNTRY'S" frames the angel and monument, and Clay's birth and death dates - "BORN APRIL 12, 1777 DIED June 29, 1852" are on his tombstone.
