This collection contains interviews, transcripts, and photographs related to a log house owned by renowed Kentucky author Janice Holt Giles and her husband Henry Giles. The log building, known as the "Giles House," is located in Adair County, near Knifely. The Janice Holt Giles and Henry Giles Society was organized, in part, to support restoration of the Giles House and grounds. The interviews were conducted by Tom Waggener for a Western Kentucky University folk studies class. |
