Woolworth Co., Allen's Shoes, Osco Drug, and Scott Five and Dime, among other stores. The reverse is captioned: "Bowling Green, Kentucky Business Section looking west, south side of Fountain Park. Bowling Green was founded 1796 by Robert Moore who build a cabin at "Big Springs" near Fountain Park. The spring and its "healing" water was a nucleus around which the town grew."
