    Personal papers of Charles E. Whittle, who was a lawyer, Ogden College alumnus, and president of the College from 1923 to 1925. After resigning the presidency, Whittle served one term as Edmonson County Attorney and ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 1926. He continued to be involved in Republican politics at the county level, serving again as Edmonson County Attorney from 1970 until his death.
