Description |
Utility quilt pieced from solid woolen fabrics. The color scheme includes shades of burgundy, brown, cream, blue, black, green in solids. It is tied in ecru, pale yellow and green yarn. Fabric pieces are laid out in an 8 x 11 arrangement plus a row of partial block that run down the side of the quilt. It is bound on sides, but not the ends, binding is turned over to the back and hand applied. Piecing looks to be machine sewn and patching is hand applied. Backing is a very thin Arborescent print. |
